Why Train With Me

  • 18+ years working with pregnant and postnatal clients

  • Continual professional education

  • Real clinical experience with mothers

  • Small training groups

  • Combination of techniques learned across multiple scar therapy trainings

Importantly, I like to keep my classes small so that I can be hands-on for help and support at any time. I have been massaging pregnant & postnatal women for over 18 years and I have never stopped updating, learning and equipping myself with the skills that I know makes me stand out from other Massage Therapists.

I want to be able to pass this knowledge and experience onto you. I still work full time with my clients, and this is important because I keep up-to-date with changes within the area.

I am passionate about helping women through every stage of life but equally as passionate to make sure Therapists working with these women have the confidence and knowledge to give an outstanding treatment and that the knowledge is up to date.

I have attended 4 Scar work courses myself from 3 different providers and have combined techniques to offer a course that I feel really supports clients in a true holistic way. I also feel being able to work with clients throughout the course is important as it consolidates the practical learning and allows you to remember it better.

All learning will be backed up with videos of techniques for you to access on a private YouTube channel.

What Happens After This Course?

I also offer the following courses:

  • Advanced Pregnancy & Bodywork Training

A 4 day course for Therapists looking to work with women in pain and discomfort. This course helps you to assess a woman confidently to work out what is causing her pain, work with it and offer aftercare to support your work.

  • Postnatal Massage Training

For Therapists wanting to work with women once they have had their baby. This course again, is looking at being able not only to relax a mother but to be able to work with her to assess any discomfort or pain she may have and be able to treat her.
